Exit Nagoya Station at the far left 'Taiko-dori' exit, walk past Denny's, and turn left at the Nagoya Business Hotel—you'll see the hotel. Denny's is open 24 hours and offers good value meals, though the menu is only in Japanese (but you can order by photos). There's plenty of shopping and dining in the JR underground area connecting to Takashimaya and Meitetsu department stores. The tourist info center in JR station has English-speaking volunteers. When asked, the manager lent us a push cart for our luggage to Meitetsu station, although he initially refused—still thoughtful. Breakfast buffet vouchers are 50 yen off if bought in advance.”
